CITRA PEREMPUAN DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN AKAR PULE KARYA OKA RUSMINI

Abstrak:

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kuatnya dominasi laki-laki terhadap perempuan dengan mengetengahkan tema budaya patriarki di Bali yang terdapat dalam kumpulan cerpen Akar Pule karya Oka Rusmini. Adapun rumusan masalah adalah (1) bagaimana struktur teks cerpen Sipleg, Sawa, dan Pastu (2) bagaimana citra perempuan, dan (3) bagaimana tinjauan feminisme terhadap citra perempuan. Pengkajian struktur cerpen menggunakan analisis dari Tzevan Todorov, yakni analisis aspek sintaksis berupa analisis terhadap pengaluran dan alur, aspek semantik yang meliputi analisis terhadap tokoh dan latar, lalu aspek verbal yang meliputi analisis terhadap kehadiran pencerita dan tipe pencerita. Pendekatan kritik sastra feminis ideologis digunakan untuk mendapatkan citra perempuan yang terbagi atas citra fisik berupa tanda-tanda jasmaniah, citra psikis berupa rasa dan emosi yang dimiliki perempuan, dan citra sosial berupa bentuk hubungan perempuan dalam masyarakat. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif analisis dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa studi dokumentasi. Hasil analisis struktur cerpen memberikan jawaban bahwa pengaluran dan alur mudah dipahami karena didominasi alur linear. Alur kilas balik, sorot balik dan bayangan digunakan untuk menciptakan ketegangan-ketegangan dalam cerita. Tokoh-tokoh perempuan berperan sebagai tokoh utama dan menggerakkan cerita. Latar cerita terjadi di Bali lengkap dengan warna lokal kebudayaan yang khas. Jenis penceritaan dan tipe pencerita hadir memperjelas kedudukan pengarang sebagai pembuat cerita. Citra perempuan yang tercermin adalah perempuan yang mendapatkan penindasan, baik fisik maupun psikis yang dilakukan oleh tokoh laki-laki dalam kehidupannya. Citra sosial yang tercermin adalah citra sosial perempuan yang mendapat pandangan negatif dari masyarakat karena bertindak di luar kelaziman. Berdasarkan tinjauan feminisme, tokoh-tokoh perempuan ditempatkan dalam kurungan budaya patriarki Bali yang mengkontruksi perempuan menjadi makhluk lemah. Terdapat perlawanan perempuan terhadap budaya patriarki yaitu dengan menjadi perempuan yang tidak mau bicara pada siapapun, menjadi istri yang berkhianat pada suami, menjadi perempuan penentang sistem kasta, dan menjadi perempuan yang menolak menikah. This research is motivated by the strong dominance of men over women with the theme of patriarchal culture in Bali is contained in a collection of short stories Akar Pule by Oka Rusmini. The formulation of the problem is (1) how to structure a short story text Sipleg, Sawa, and Pastu (2) how the image of women, and (3) how the review feminism on the image of women. Assessment using the analysis of the structure of short stories Tzevan Todorov, the analysis in the form of an analysis of the syntactic aspect describes the plot and how it is arranged, which includes analysis of the semantic aspects of the characters and backgrounds, and verbal aspect which includes an analysis of the presence and type narrator narrator. Feminist literary criticism ideological approach used to obtain the image of women, divided into a physical image signs of physical, mental imagery and emotion in the form of a sense of women-owned, and a form of social image of women in public relations. The method used is descriptive method of analysis with data collection techniques in the form of documentation. Results of structural analysis of the short story and provide the answers that describes the plot and how is arranged easily understood as predominantly linear flow. Groove flashback, flashback and shadows are used to create tensions in the story. Figures of women as the main character and move the story. Background story happened in Bali culture complete with typical local color. Type of storytelling and storytellers types clarify the present position of the author as the creator of the story. Reflected image of women is women who get oppression, both physically and psychologically by male figures in his life. Social image reflected is the social image of women who received a negative view of society as acting outside prevalence. Based on a review of feminism, female figures are placed in confinement patriarchal culture Balinese women construct a weak creature. There are women's resistance against patriarchy is to be a woman who does not want to talk to anyone, a betrayed wife whose husband, a female opponents of the caste system, and a woman who refused to marry.
