MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN KOMUNIKASI SOSIAL ANAK MELALUI BERMAIN PERAN DI KELOMPOK BERMAIN LABORATORIUM PGPAUD UPI

Abstrak:

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan masalah yang berkaitan dengan kemampuan komunikasi sosial anak di Kelompok Bermain Laboratorium PGPAUD UPI yang ditunjukkan dengan belum dapat mengungkapkan perasaannya, mendengarkan ketika temannya berbicara, memperhatikan teman ketika berbicara, serta menghargai temannya ketika berbicara, sehingga sebagian anak cenderung kurang dapat menjalani hubungan baik dan menyenangkan dengan teman sebayanya. Hal tersebut menjadi alasan yang mendasari rumusan masalah, yaitu (1) Bagaimana kondisi objektif kemampuan komunikasi sosial anak di Kelompok Bermain Laboratorium PGPAUD UPI sebelum diterapkan bermain peran?, (2) Bagaimana penerapan bermain peran dalam meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi sosial anak di Kelompok Bermain Laboratorium PGPAUD UPI?, (3) Bagaimana kemampuan komunikasi sosial anak di Kelompok Bermain Laboratorium PGPAUD UPI setelah diterapkan bermain peran?. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran melalui penerapan bermain peran untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi sosial anak. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan desain penelitian John Elliot, dengan subyek penelitiannya adalah anak Kelompok Bermain Laboratorium PGPAUD UPI Tahun Pelajaran 2013-2014 yang berjumlah 11 orang anakTeknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini melalui observasi, catatan anekdot, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data kualitatif dengan pelaksanaan beberapa tahapan diantaranya reduksi data, display data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Kondisi awal pencapaian indikator komunikasi sosial anak di Kelompok Bermain Laboratorium PGPAUD UPI berada dalam kategori perlu stimulus (PS) sehingga belum meningkat secara maksimal, namun setelah diberikan kegiatan bermain peran, anak mengalami peningkatan dari siklus pertama hingga siklus ketiga secara keseluruhan berada dari kategori perlu stimulus (PS) ke kategori dalam proses (DP), dan berkembang baik (BB) sebesar 80%.). Rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk guru anak usia dini yaitu kegiatan bermain peran ini dapat dijadikan sebagai alternatif untuk meningkatkan kemampuan komunikasi sosial anak. Kata kunci: komunikasi sosial anak, bermain peran. Abstract This research was done based on the findings of the problems with social communication skills in preschool children PGPAUD UPI Laboratory that indicated by the children can not express his/her feelings , listen and give attention when his/her friends was talking, so some children can not have good relationships with his/her friend. That is the reason underlying the formulation of the problem, namely (1) How does the objective conditions of social communication skills in preschool children PGPAUD UPI laboratory before being applied role play?, (2) How to play a role in increasing the adoption of social communication abilities in play groups PGPAUD Laboratory UPI ? , (3) How to children social communication skills in play groups PGPAUD Laboratory UPI after applied play a role ?. The purpose of this research is to improve learning through the implementation of role play to enhance the child's social communication skills . This study used action research ( PTK ) with the design from John Elliot, that used three cycles in which each cycle consists of two acts by step (1) planning , (2) implementation, (3) observation , and (4) reflection . The subject of research is child of play groups PGPAUD Laboratory UPI academic year 2013-2014. The total subject isi 11 children . Data collection techniques in this study through observation , anecdotal notes , and documentation . The data analysis technique used is the analysis of qualitative data with the implementation of several stages including data reduction , data display , and conclusion . Preconditions achievement indicators of social communication in preschool children PGPAUD UPI Laboratories need to be in the category of stimulus ( PS ) that has not increased to the maximum , but after being given the role play activities , children have increased from the first cycle to the third cycle of the category as a whole is necessary stimulus ( PS ) to the category of the process ( DP ) , and developing well ( BB ) by 80 % . Role-playing activities can be used as an alternative to improve the child's social communication skills. Keywords: child's social communication, role playing.
