PEMANFAATAN SUMBER DAYA INFORMASI REPOSITORY.UPI.EDU UNTUK PENYELESAIAN KARYA TULIS ILMIAH MAHASISWA DI UNIVERSITAS PENDIDIKAN INDONESIA

Abstrak:

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan masalah yang berkaitan dengan kompetensi sosial anak di beberapa lembaga Pendidikan Anak usia Dini, salah satunya di TK Nurul Islam kompetensi sosial anak kurang berkembang dengan optimal yang ditandai dengan kekompakan dan interaksi yang kurang diantara mereka dalam kompetensi sosial, misalnya anak belum mampu bekerjasama, mengungkapkan apa yang dirasakannya dan dirasakan teman-temannya dan lain sebagainya. Penelitian ini bertujuan 1) Untuk mengetahui profil kompetensi sosial anak kelompok eksperimen sebelum dan sesudah penerapan kegiatan outbound di TK NURUL ISLAM. 2) Untuk mengetahui profil kompetensi sosial anak kelompok kontrol di TK NURUL ISLAM. 3) Untuk mengetahui adakah terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan dari kegiatan outbound terhadap kompetensi sosial anak usia dini di TK NURUL ISLAM. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan menggunakan instrument penelitian yaitu lembar observasi. Tahapan dalam penelitian kuasi eksperimen ini yaitu dengan melakukan pre-test dan post-test dikelompok eksperimen dan kontrol, dengan masing-masing 10 anak serta treatment hanya dikelompok eksperimen. Hasil penelitan ini menunjukan kondisi awal kompetensi sosial anak sebelum diterapkan kegiatan outbound berada pada kriteria sedang. Setelah dilakukan treatment dan proses uji coba statistik menggunakan rumus uji-t Independen diperoleh hasil nilaiP<0,05 maka Ha dapat diterima, berarti kompetensi sosial anak mengalami perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol. Rata-rata post-test untuk kelompok kontrol sebesar 106,2 dan kelas eksperimen 121, hal ini menunjukan bahwa kegiatan outbound dikelompok eksperimen memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap kompetensi sosial anak. Rekomendasi yang diberikan untuk pendidik anak usia dini yaitu kegiatan outbound ini dapat menstimulasi kompetensi sosial anak. Kata kunci : Kegiatan Outbound dan Kompetensi Sosial Anak The Influence of Outbound Activity toward The Social Competence of Early Children This study is done based on the problems relating to the social competence of children at several educational institutions for preschool-aged children, one of them is at TK NURUL ISLAM where the social competence of children doesn’t yet develop maximally indicated by the lack of togetherness and interaction among them in social competence, for instance child is not able to cooperate, express what he and his friends felt,etc. The objectives of the study are 1) To know the profil of the children’s social competence from the Experiment Group before and after doing outbound activity at TK NURUL ISLAM. 2) to know the profil of children’s social competence from the Control Group at TK NURUL ISLAM. 3) to know whether there is a significant influence from the outbound activity to the social competence of preschool-aged children at TK NURUL ISLAM. This study employs the experiment quasi method with quantitative approach. Data of the study were achieved by using the instrument of research that is observation sheet. Phases in this experiment method of the study notably by doing pre-test and post-test in the Experiment Group and Control Group. Each group consists of ten children. while treatment is only for the Experiment Group. The result of the study shows that an initial condition of the children’s social competence before doing the outbound activity is at the position medium criteria. After doing treatment and experiment process of statistics by using the formula uji-t Independent gets mark P<0,05 so H is acceptable, it means that the social competence of the children experiences a significant difference between Experiment Group and Control Group. The average of post-test for the Control Group is 106,2 and the Experiment Group is 121. This shows that the outbound activity for the Experiment Group gives a significant influence to the social competence of the children. A recommendation given to the educator and teacher of preschool-aged children is that this outbound activity can stimulate social competence of the children.
