PENGARUH KOMPENSASI TERHADAP MOTIVASI KERJA DAN DAMPAKNYA TERHADAP PRODUKTIVITAS KERJA PEGAWAI DI BIDANG PENDIDIKAN MENENGAH DAN TINGGI DINAS PENDIDIKAN PROVINSI JAWA BARAT

Abstrak:

Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Kompensasi Terhadap Motivasi Kerja dan Dampaknya Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja di Bidang Pendidikan Menengah dan Tinggi Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat”. Masalah yang dibahas adalah penelitian ini adalah tentang seberapa besar pengaruh kompensasi terhadap produktivitas kerja, seberapa besar pengaruh kompensasi terhadap motivasi kerja dan seberapa besar pengaruh motivasi kerja terhadap produktivitas kerja. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Tehnik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket tertutup yang disebarkan kepada 44 orang pegawai Bidang Pendidikan Menengah dan Tinggi sebagai sampel sekaligus populasi penelitian. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan dengan menggunakan Weighted Means Score (WMS), menunjukkan bahwa pemberian kompensasi di Bidang Pendidikan Menengah dan Tinggi termasuk dalam kategori baik dengan nilai rata-rata 3,83, sedangkan motivasi kerja dalam kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata 4,14 dan produktivitas kerja dalam kategori sangat baik dengan nilai rata-rata sebesar 4,04. Analisis Korelasi dengan menggunakan Pearson Product Moment dengan menggunakan bantuan program SPSS for Windows 17.0 diperoleh koefisien korelasi antara variabel X1 dan variabel Y adalah sebesar 0,325 yang berada dalam kategori hubungan yang rendah, koefisien korelasi antara variabel X1 dan variabel X2 adalah sebesar 0,700 yang menunjukkan hubungan korelasi yang kuat dan koefisien korelasi antara variabel X2 dan Y adalah sebesar 0,640 yang menunjukkan korelasi yang kuat. Analisis korelasi dilanjutkan dengan analisis determinasi. Hasil uji koefisien determinasi yaitu bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh sebesar 10,56% terhadap produktivitas kerja dan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lain, motivasi kerja dipengaruhi sebesar 49% oleh kompensasi dan sisanya dipengaruhi faktor lain dan produktivitas kerja dipengaruhi sebesar 40,96% sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh aspek yang lain. Berdasarkan hasil pengolahan data dapat disimpulkan bahwa kompensasi berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap motivasi kerja dan dampaknya terhadap produktivitas kerja di Bidang Pendidikan Menengah dan Tinggi Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat. The study is titled "Pengaruh Kompensasi Terhadap Motivasi Kerja dan Dampaknya Terhadap Produktivitas Kerja Pegawai di Bidang Pendidikan Menengah dan Tinggi Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Jawa Barat". Issues covered are the study was about how much influence the compensation to labor productivity, how much influence employee motivation and compensation to how much influence the work motivation on work productivity. The method used in this research is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. Techniques of data collection using the enclosed questionnaire distributed to 44 employees and Higher Secondary Education as well as samples of the study population. Based on calculations using the Weighted Means Score (WMS), suggests that the provision of compensation in Secondary and Higher Education included in both categories with an average value of 3.83, while the motivation to work in the excellent category with an average value of 4.14 and labor productivity in the excellent category with an average value of 4.04. Correlation analysis using Pearson Product Moment using SPSS for Windows 17.0 correlation coefficient between variables X1 and Y variable is equal to 0.325 which is in the low category of relationship, the correlation coefficient between variables X1 and X2 is equal to 0.700 which shows the correlation Strong and correlation coefficient between variables X2 and Y is equal to 0.640 which shows a strong correlation. Correlation analysis followed by analysis of the determination. Coefficient of determination of test results is that the compensation effect for 10.56% of the productivity of labor and the rest influenced by other factors, work motivation is influenced by compensation at 49% and the rest is influenced by other factors and labor productivity is influenced by 40.96% while the rest is influenced by aspects others. Based on the results of data processing can be concluded that the compensation a positive and significant effect on work motivation and its impact on labor productivity in Secondary Education and Higher Education Department of West Java Province.
