PENGGUNAAN MAGIC BOOK UNTUK MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA RANAH KOGNITIF :Kuasi Eksperimen pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bandung

Abstrak:

Penelitian ini berjudul “Penggunaan Magic Book Untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Pada Ranah Kognitif” (Kuasi Eksperimen pada mata pelajaran Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi kelas XI di Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bandung). Tujuan umum penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Magic Book terhadap hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek memahami (understand) pada mata pelajaran TIK. Adapun tujuan khusus dalam penelitian ini adalah: 1.Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Magic Book terhadap hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek memahami proses menafsirkan (interpreting) pada mata pelajaran TIK. 2.Mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan Magic Book terhadap hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek memahami proses menyimpulkan (inferring) pada mata pelajaran TIK. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Tes Awal dan Tes Akhir Kelompok Kontrol Tak Setara (Control Group Not Equivalent Pre-Test and Post-Test Design). Instrumen yang digunakan untuk memperoleh data penelitian adalah tes hasil belajar berupa soal dalam bentuk uraian atau essai yang berjumlah 10 butir dengan rincian lima butir soal tentang proses menafsirkan (interpreting) dan lima butir soal selanjutnya tentang proses menyimpulkan (inferring). Sampel yang digunakan berjumlah 53 siswa, dengan rincian 27 siswa sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan 26 siswa sebagai kelompok kontrol. Kesimpulan umum yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan Magic Book terhadap hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek memahami (understand) pada mata pelajaran TIK. Meskipun demikian, bukan berarti penggunaan Magic Book tidak memberikan pengaruh sama sekali terhadap hasil belajar siswa, hal ini terbukti dengan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dari rata-rata skor pre-test terhadap rata-rata skor post-test. Adapun kesimpulan khusus dari penelitian ini adalah: 1.Terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan Magic Book terhadap hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek memahami (understand) proses menafsirkan (interpreting) pada mata pelajaran TIK. 2.Tidak terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan penggunaan Magic Book terhadap hasil belajar siswa ranah kognitif aspek memahami (understand) proses menyimpulkan (inferring) pada matapelajarn TIK. Rekomendasi penggunaan media Magic Book agar optimal adalah ketersediaan teknologi pendukung berupa perangkat komputer dan kamera (webcamp). Untuk penelitian selanjutnya difokuskan untuk mengkaji lebih mendalam mengenai hasil belajar dengan cakupan aspek kognitif yang lebih kompleks dengan perlakuan (treatment) pada saat penelitian minimal tiga kali, serta penggunaan media Magic Book yang dapat diterapkan pada teknologi telepon genggam atau handphone (mobile learning). Kata Kunci: Magic Book, Media Pembelajaran The study entitled "The use of Magic Book to enhance student learning Outcomes in the Cognitive Domain" (Quasi Experiments on subjects of Information Communication and Technology class XI in Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Bandung). The general objective of this research is to know the influence of the use Magic Book to student learning outcomes cognitive domain aspect of understanding on ICT subjects. As for the specific purpose of this research are: 1.Know the effects use of the Magic Book to student learning outcomes cognitive domain aspect of understanding the process of interpreting on ICT subjects. 2.Know the effects use of the Magic Book to student learning outcomes cognitive domain aspect of understanding the process inferring on ICT subjects. The research method used was quasi experimental Control Group Not Equivalent Pre Test and Post Test Design. Instruments used for obtaining research data is a test of learning outcomes in the form of his essay, which totaled 10 items with details of five item about the process interpreting and five item the next question about the process inferring. The sample used totaled 54 students, with details of 27 students as experiments group and 26 students as control group. The General conclusion of this study is there is no significant influence on the use of the Magic Book of student learning outcomes cognitive domain aspects understand on ICT subjects. Even so, that does not mean the use of Magic Book gives no influence at all on the learning outcomes of students, this is evident by the presence of increased student learning outcomes from the average score pre-test against the average score post-test. As for the specific conclusions of this research are: 1.There is a significant influence the use of Magic Book to student learning outcomes cognitive domain aspect of understanding the process of interpreting on ICT subjects. 2.There is no significant influence the use of Magic Book to student learning outcomes cognitive domain aspect of understanding the process of inferring on ICT subjects. Recommendation for the use of Magic Book in order to optimally is availability support technology of a computer and camera devices (webcamp). For further research focused on examining more deeply about the results of the study with cognitive aspects of coverage that is more complex, with the treatment at the time of research at least three times, as well as the use of the media agic Book that can be applied to mobile phone or mobile technologies (mobile learning).
