PROGRAM BIMBINGAN KELOMPOK UNTUK MENGEMBANGKAN KONSEP DIRI AKADEMIK PESERTA DIDIK: Penelitian Eksperimen Semu terhadap Peserta Didik Kelas VIII di Salah Satu SMP Negeri Kota Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2012/2013Abstrak:
Penelitian bertujuan untuk menghasilkan program bimbingan kelompok yang efektif untuk mengembangkan konsep diri akademik peserta didik kelas VIII di salah satu SMP Negeri kota BandungTahun Ajaran 2012/2013. Pendekatan yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif dengan metode eksperimen semu dan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group. Teknik sampling menggunakan sampling jenuh/sensus. Alat pengungkap data menggunakan angket berbentuk skala sikap dan statistik nonparametrik digunakan untuk menganalisis data. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) gambaran konsep diri akademik peserta didik; (2) rumusan program bimbingan kelompok yang tepat menurut pakar dan praktisi; dan (3) program bimbingan kelompok yang efektif untuk mengembangkan konsep diri akademik peserta didik.

The purpose of this research is to produce an effective group guidance program to developed the self-concept of class VIII students of junior High School Bandung Academic Year 2012/2013. The approach used is quantitative, quasi-experimental methods and research design Nonequivalent Control Group. The sampling used census sampling. Instrument used in this research is questionnaires attitude scale and nonparametric statistic used to analysis of the data. The results of the research are: (1) student’s self-concept image, (2) the formulation of group guidance program according to experts and practitioners, and (3) description of effectiveness group guidance program to developed students self-concept academic.
