PENGARUH METODE PEMBELAJARAN UNPLUGGED DALAM KONSEP DASAR TIK TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMK KELAS X : Studi Kasus Pada Siswa Kelas X Jurusan Komputer dan Teknik Jaringan di SMK Pasundan 1 Cimahi

Abstrak:

Penelitian ini dimaksudkan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana pengaruh penggunaan metode pembelajaran unplugged dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar terhadap hasil belajar siswa dalam mata pelajaran yang membahas salah satu konsep dasar TIK yaitu bilangan biner. Penelitian dilakukan di sebuah sekolah sample, dengan responden siswa SMK. Metode penelitian menggunakan Quasy Eksperimen Design, dimana sampel dibagi menjadi dua kelompok yaitu kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Kelas eksperimen menggunakan metode pembelajaran unplugged sedangkan kelas kontrol menggunakan metode pembelajaran konvensional. Dari penelitian ini didapat hasil berupa peningkatan hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingan dengan kelas kontrol. Dilihat dari analisis indeks gain dimana kelas eksperimen memiliki rata-rata N-Gain dengan nilai indeks 0.567, lebih tinggi dibandingkan kelas kontrol dengan rata-rata N-Gain sebesar 0.277. Berdasarkan rekapitulasi N-Gain, persentase siswa kelas eksperimen yang mengalami peningkatan hasil belajar dalam kategori sedang dan tinggi berturut-turut sebesar 55% dan 30%, sedangkan kelas kontrol berturut-turut 30% dan 20%. Hal ini diperkuat oleh hasil dari uji hipotesis wilcoxon yang menyatakan bahwa terdapat perbedaan antara hasil belajar kelas eksperimen dengan kelas kontrol yang diakibatkan oleh perbedaan penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang digunakan karena hasil nilai probabilitas yang didapat adalah 0.026. Kata kunci: Metode Pembelajaran Unplugged, Konsep Dasar TIK, Hasil Belajar This study aimed to determine the extent of the influence of the use of learning methods unplugged the teaching and learning activities on student learning outcomes in subjects that addresses one of the fundamental concepts of TIK is a binary number. The study was conducted in a school sample, with respondent’s vocational students. The research method used Quasy Experimental Design, where samples were divided into two groups: experimental classes and control classes. Experimental class learning methods unplugged while the control class using conventional learning methods. From the research results obtained by increasing student learning outcomes in the experimental class higher compared with the control class. Judging from the analysis of the index gain where the experimental class had an average N-Gain with an index value of 0.567, higher than the control class with an average N-Gain for 0.277. Based recapitulation N-Gain, the percentage of experimental class students increased learning outcomes in the medium and high categories, respectively for 55% and 30%, while the control class respectively 30% and 20%. This was confirmed by the results of the Wilcoxon test hypothesis states that there is a difference between the results of experiments with classroom learning control classes due to differences in the use of learning methods are used because the probability value obtained was 0.026.
