HUBUNGAN ANTARA PEMANFAATAN INTERNET SEKOLAH DENGAN MOTIVASI SISWA UNTUK MENELUSURI BAHAN AJAR : Studi Deskriptif Korelasional Terhadap Siswa Kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lembang

Abstrak:

ABSTRAK Berlandaskan oleh aktifitas utama siswa di sekolah yaitu melaksanakan proses pembelajaran, sudah seharusnya terintegrasi dengan teknologi internet di dalamnya dan memacu motivasi para elemen di sekolah untuk meraih tujuannya yaitu menciptakan sumber daya manusia yang berkualitas. Penelitian ini mengacu pada masalah yang telah dirumuskan, yaitu: 1) Bagaimanakah persepsi siswa terhadap pemanfaatan internet sekolah untuk menelusuri bahan ajar ? 2) Bagaimanakah motivasi siswa untuk menelusuri bahan ajar dengan menggunakan internet sekolah ? dan, 3) Apakah terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara pemanfaatan internet sekolah dengan motivasi siswa untuk menelusuri bahan ajar ?. Hipotesis yang diajukan dalam penelitian ini adalah: “pemanfaatan internet sekolah berhubungan secara positif dan signifikan dengan motivasi siswa untuk menelusuri bahan ajar.” Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif korelasional dan teknik pengumpulan data dengan cara menyebarkan angket dan wawancara. Sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 50 siswa. Pengolahan data menggunakan perhitungan SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) versi 20. Data diolah menggunakan rumus uji korelasi Product Moment. Pengolahan data dilakukan dengan langkah : 1) mendeskripsikan data temuan, 2) uji validitas dan reliabilitas, 3) pengujian hipotesis, 4) penarikan kesimpulan. Berdasarkan hasil kajian yang diperoleh, dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa pemanfaatan internet sekolah berhubungan secara signifikan dengan motivasi siswa untuk menelusuri bahan ajar,dengan nilai korelasi 0,383. Persepsi siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Lembang terhadap pemanfaatan internet sekolah untuk menelusuri bahan ajar sangat baik dengan kriteria interpretasi skor sebesar 74,2 % dan tergolong dalam kategori yang kuat. Tingkat motivasi siswa untuk menelusuri bahan ajar dengan menggunakan internet sekolah didapat termasuk dalam kategori yang sangat baik dengan kriteria interpretasi skor sebesar 68,9 % dan tergolong dalam kategori yang kuat. Pemanfaatan internet sekolah dengan motivasi siswa untuk menelusuri bahan ajar berhubungan dengan positif dan signifikan dengan kriteria interpretasi koefisien korelasi yang cenderung rendah. ABSTRACT Based on the main activities by students in a school that is implementing the learning process, it should be integrated with the internet technology in it and spur the motivation element at the school to reach its goal of creating qualified human resources. This study refers to a problem that has been formulated, namely: 1) how did the student perception of school internet use to search for learning materials? 2) how does the motivation of students to browse materials by using the internet to school? and, 3) whether there is a positive and significant relationship between utilization of internet by school student's motivation to navigate the learning materials?. The hypothesis presented in this study are: "school internet utilization associated positively and significantly with the motivation of students to browse materials." The research method used is descriptive korelasional method and technique of data collection by way of spreading the question form and interview. The sample used as many as 50 students. Data processing using the calculation of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 20. The Data were processed using the formula tests Product Moment correlation. Processing of data is carried out by steps: 1) describes the data, 2) test of validity and reliability, 3) hypothesis testing, 4) withdrawal of the conclusion. Based on the results of the study are obtained, can be drawn the conclusion that the utilization of the internet school is associated significantly with the motivation of students to navigate the learning materials, with a value of 0,383 correlation. The perception of VIII grade students of SMP Negeri 1 Lembang against exploiting the internet to browse the school materials with very good interpretation of the criterion score of 74,2% and belongs in the category. The level of motivation of students to browse materials by using the internet the school had included in the category of very good interpretation criteria score of 68.9% and belongs in the category. School internet utilization with the motivation of students to browse materials related to a positive and significant with a correlation coefficient interpretation criteria tend to be low.
