PROFIL KOMPETENSI GURU TAMAN KANAK-KANAK TERSERTIFIKASI DI YAYASAN SALIB SUCI BANDUNG:Penelitian Studi Deskriptif KuantitatifPada Guru TK Di Yayasan Salib Suci Bandung

Abstrak:

Seorang guru dituntut untuk mampu menampilkan performa terbaik dalam menjalankan tugas-tugasnya. Kemampuan seorang guru dalam menjalankan tugasnya secara optimal ditunjukkan melalui kompetensi yang dimiliki baik dalam hal pedagogis, kepribadian, sosial, maupun profesionalitasnya sebagai seorang pendidik. Seorang guru yang memiliki kompetensi-kompetensi tersebut secara mumpuni, dipastikan akan menghasilkan output siswa yang berkualitas pula. Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut, maka peneliti tertarik untuk menelaah profil kompetensi guru TK yang tersertifikasi di Yayasan Salib Suci Bandung. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengungkap gambaran kompetensi guru TK tersertifikasi di lingkungan Yayasan Salib Suci Bandung. Teknik pengumpulan data yang penulis lakukan yaitu melalui angket yang diberikan kepada kepala sekolah terkait kompetensi guru yang dilihat berdasarkan 4 kompetensi dasar yang harus dimiliki oleh seorang guru. Objek penelitian dalam penelitian ini adalah guru TK yang ada di bawah naungan Yayasan Salib Suci Bandung dan sudah tersertifikasi. Sampel dalam penelitian berjumlah sebanyak 10 orang guru yang diambil berdasarkan sampel jenuh dari total populasi. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru TK tersertifikasi yang ada di bawah naungan Yayasan Salib Suci Bandung menurut penilaian masing-masing kepala sekolahnya termasuk pada kategori sangat baik. Dengan skor rata-rata 4,24, kompetensi kepribadian termasuk paling tinggi skornya dibanding dengan kompetensi lainnnya dengan skor rata-rata 4,48, sedangkan kompetensi pedagogik paling rendah dibanding kompetensi lainya dengan skor 3,99. Dari empat kompetensi dasar yang wajib dimiliki oleh seorang guru, kompetensi kepribadian guru TK di Yayasan Salib Suci merupakan kompetensi yang paling baik dibanding 3 kompetensi lainnya. Sebaliknya, kompetensi yang dinilai paling kurang diantara keempat kompetensi dasar tersebut adalah kompetensi pedagogik. Berkaitan dengan hal itu, maka setiap lembaga dituntut untuk dapat mengarahkan para gurunya untuk dapat meningkatkan keseluruhan kompetensi mereka khususnya dalam hal kompetensi pedagogik melalui pelatihan, seminar, lokakarya, yang pada akhirnya akan dapat meningkatkan kompetensi mereka sebagai seorang pendidik yang profesional. A teacher is required to show the best performance in carrying out his duties. The ability of a teacher in carrying out their duties optimally demonstrated by competence both in terms of pedagogical, personal, social, and professionalism as an educator. A teacher who has these competencies are qualified, will certainly result in output quality of students as well. Based on this background, the researchers are interested in examining the competency profile of a certified kindergarten teacher at Holy Cross Foundation Bandung. The purpose of this study was to reveal the picture of competence certified kindergarten teachers in the Holy Cross Foundation Bandung. Data collection techniques that writers do that is through questionnaires given to the head teacher's school-related competence is seen by four basic competencies that should be possessed by a teacher. Research object in this study is a kindergarten teacher who is under the auspices of the Foundation of the Holy Cross London and has been certified. The sample amounted to as many as 10 teachers were taken based on saturation of the total population sample. The research method used is descriptive method with a quantitative approach. The results showed that the competence of kindergarten teachers who are certified under the auspices of the Foundation of the Holy Cross London by rating each of the principals, including the very good category. With an average score of 4.24, including personal competence highest competence scores compared with other woods with an average score of 4.48, while the lowest pedagogical competence than others with a score of 3.99. Of the four basic competencies that must be owned by a teacher, kindergarten teacher competency in the foundation of personality of the Holy Cross was better than the competence of the other three competencies. Conversely, competence assessed at least among the four basic competence is pedagogical. In that regard, each agency is required to be able to direct the teachers to improve their overall competence especially in terms of pedagogical training, seminars, workshops, which in turn will increase their competence as a professional educator.
